Poetic picture book filled with musings and gratitude
Wanda Baxter, author of If I Had an Old House on the East Coast, does indeed live in an old house.
However, her poetic picture book with artist Kat Frick Miller is not about her house. “It's the idea of, the dream of, having an old home,” says Baxter. “It's gratitude.”

People's Cider Label Artwork

Client: Bulwark Cider

Custom artwork for the People's Cider partnership project between Bulwark Cider, Ross Farm Museum and local apple growers across Nova Scotia.

"Cider doesn’t get more local than when it is made from the fruit of your own trees. As responsible stewards of local resources we are proud to use what is a natural but largely wasted, resource and turn it into a finely crafted, artisanal product. The People’s Cider Project bring together apples from hobby farms and backyards across Nova Scotia that have been pressed and fermented at our cidery. The result is a rustic cider expressing true terroir, apple blossom aromas, pear, clover honey with a crisp, dry finish."
